#1080P ANIMAL CROSSING DOLPHIN WINDOWS 8.1#
HP Pavilion, running on Windows 8.1 (64-bit) with 8GB RAMĬPU is an AMD A8-4555M APU with Radeon HD graphics, running at 1.Compatibility can be assumed to align with the indicated revisions. Is there any way to lock the FPS at 60?ĭoes anyone have any ideas on how I might solve this problem, or is my laptop simply not up to the job? Its specs are: I turned on the FPS display which (with FAST Racing) shows 60fps on the company logo and menu screens but slows to about 24fps when the actual game starts. I've tried messing with the various settings - some options make the problem worse but none get rid of it.

Gradius Rebirth works okay but most others I've tried, such as FAST Racing, Bomberman Blast, and Rainbow Islands run much slower than they should and with very juddery sound. I've only tried one GameCube game so far (Burnout) which ran fine and I haven't tried any proper Wii games I mainly got it to play (and review on my blog) WiiWare games, but most of the ones I've tried so far don't run properly. Oh hey, what's going down? Apologies if this has been asked before (and I suspect it has) but I've recently installed Dolphin 4.0.2 and I'm having trouble with the speed at which it runs some games.
#1080P ANIMAL CROSSING DOLPHIN 1080P#
I play games in Dolphin on double their native resolution, I don't go all out in full HD for the rendering resolution, my screen resolution is 1080p but that's just dolphin upscaling to that res it renders at double the default one and games do run smoothlyĭolphin didn't used to do this so I don't know what's up, all my other games and emulators are fine Gotcha Force for example works flawlessy but Skies of Arcadia, P.N.03 and some other games do this This happens in many Dolphin games for me even tho they run at smooh framerates, I must have enabled something I don't understand since it didn't used to do this. I not only have to replay the damn game now and farm points to unlock suits again since I play it on GameCube but also have to deal with this weird issue and I'm dying to review it because i love it so damn much I need to record P.N.03 for my youtube gaming channel and it gets annoying, the game runs very nice and smooth but it randomly freezres up for a second or two making things unpleasent for video recording. If you need to look at my settings just ask and I'll post a screenshot, however my Dolphin settings are exactly the same as the one here: (Other than Dual Core which I explained why I disabled it) So I'm simply here to ask if anyone could help? I have also tried the latest version of Dolphin, and many other versions but none have worked and they all have the same problem.ĭeleting my Dolphin settings in Documents does not work either This becomes a major problem if I want to play netplay with friends because if I set them to any of the GC Ports that don't work, it of course, doesn't work for both me and them (It does however start to work if I close the netplay window, but that of course disconnected us). GC Port 1 also does not work if I have "Enable Dual Core" checked and reproduces the same problem as the other GC Ports, but If I uncheck it, it works perfectly. Whenever I use netplay on dolphin it runs 100% perfectly, however, when I change myself to be set as GC Port 2,3 or 4, the game window pops up but hangs on a black screen and does absolutely nothing until I close it (I can't even close sometimes I have to Alt+F4 the window occasionally). I've been looking every for a solution and couldn't find a single thing on it, and if I did no one responded to it so I guess I'll make a thread on it.
